Step 1Choose how many magnets you would like to create – you will need this number of wooden rings. Paint the rings with bright colours. Allow to dry.
Step 2Use a permanent pen to add a pattern or message to the coloured rings.
Step 3Download and print the templates provided onto cover paper.
Step 4Decorate your chosen template designs or use the blank template pieces to create your own! You can also use the blank templates as a guide for a photo. Cut out the template pieces around the outer black border and glue them to the back of each ring. Allow to dry. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 5Cut an adhesive magnet strip in half and peel away the paper backing to reveal the sticky surface. Place the magnet on a flat surface with the sticky side facing up. Place your mini frame on top of the magnet as shown, using your finger to push the template or photo down firmly onto the sticky surface. The magnet will now be fixed in place on the back of your mini frame.
Step 6Repeat step 5 with the rest of your decorated mini frames so that each one has a magnet attached to the back. Your Mini Frame Magnets are now ready for gifting and sticking on the fridge!
