Step 1Using a pencil lightly draw your design onto the canvas.
Experiment with different colours to create your own unique sun!
Step 3Paint the outline of the design red. Allow to dry.
Step 4Use a paint brush to paint glue on the areas that you want covered in red sand. Sprinkle the sand over the glue generously.
Step 5Place the wooden square shape over the canvas. This will hold the sand in place. Flip the canvas and wooden shape over.
Step 6Lift up the canvas and shake any leftover sand off the canvas (if you flip the canvas over without the wooden square shape the sand will spread over parts of the canvas you have let for other sand colours).
Step 7Repeat steps 3 & 4 for yellow and purple sand. Remember to let the sand dry in between each step.
