Step 1Using a glue gun, create a small blob of glue with a tapered end (like a teardrop) onto a shiny surface such as porcelain, glass or plastic. Adult supervision is recommended when using a glue gun. Make sure it is small enough to fit inside the opening of a small glass bottle. Once dry, remove the glue blob from the surface. Alternatively, you could use a paper surface, however it will stick and you will need to peel as much of the paper from the back as you can. You can use a small amount of water and rub back and forth to help remove any paper that is still attached.
Step 2Add two black eyes to the front of the ghost shape using a marker.
Step 3Cut a 2.5cm length of craft line. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Glue one end of the craft line to the bottom of the cork stopper from your glass bottle. Ensure the line is positioned at a 90-degree angle as shown. Allow to dry.
Step 4Glue the loose end of the craft line to the back of the ghost and allow to dry.
Step 5Use a Glass & Porcelain Marker to add a cityscape design around the bottom edge of the bottle. You can draw different size rectangles to create the skyscrapers of your cityscape. Bake your bottle following the instructions on the marker (without the lid!) to set your design. Adult supervision is recommended. Allow to cool fully then insert the ghost into the bottle and secure the cork stopper in place.
Step 6Your Ghost in a Bottle is now ready to display!
