Papier Mache

Check that the lid strips match up to the box strips before you completely glue them down.
Step 1Give your box a coat of white paint. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
Step 2Paint your box with gold paint. Allow to dry.
Step 3Cut thin strips of brown crepe paper. Glue the strips onto the box and the lid to represent leather straps.
Step 4Glue rhinestones along the strips of brown crepe paper and then set aside to dry.
