Peace Dove

Step 1Download and print out the template provided. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this provides a good surface for decorating.
Step 2Cut out your dove, making sure to carefully cut a slit along the horizontal line on the dove’s back. Use a hole punch to create a hole as indicated by the circle.
Step 3Use a permanent marker to give the dove eyes and a beak.
Step 4Use glitter glue to write ‘Peace’ along the top part of the dove’s back. Allow to dry.
Step 5Trace your hand twice onto cover paper making sure there is a small tab at the palm of your hand to slide through the slot on the dove’s back.
Step 6Cut out your hands and decorate with markers in a rainbow pattern, making sure to colour both sides of the hands.
Step 7Slide each of the tabs on the hands, through either side of the slit in the dove’s back to create the wings. Secure in place with tape or glue.
Step 8Cut a length of craft line and loop through the hole of the dove, securing at the top with a knot for hanging.
