2023 Book Cover Colouring Sheets

Kick off the school year with this fun colouring activity! Children of all ages will enjoy decorating and personalising their book covers.

Tip: These book covers are designed at A4 size for easy printing. You can enlarge them to any size required. To cover a book A4 size or smaller, we recommend printing them at A3.

  • Step 1Download and print out the template provided. We recommend using cover paper as it will be sturdier and easier to decorate than copy paper. You may need to enlarge the designs when printing to make the covers your desired size.
  • Step 2Colour in the book covers with bright colours. We tried to make sure no two same colours touched on each design to make the designs really pop!
  • Step 3If you printed your covers with a border or margin around them, you may like to trim this off now. We recommend adult supervision when using scissors.
  • Step 4Cover your book/s with the completed book covers. Secure in place with tape.
  • Step 5Don't forget to write your details on the front in the space provided!
  • CleverTip: If you’d like to add an extra protective layer to your books, you may like to add adhesive book covering on top of your completed designs after wrapping your books.
