Watercolour Paper Lantern

You’re going to love this craft hack... Did you know you can use our spray bottles with liquid watercolours for quick and easy paper lantern decorating?!
  • Step 1Remove the lid from your liquid watercolour bottle and replace it with the head of a 500ml spray bottle. Alternatively, you can place small amounts of watercolour into your chosen spray bottle.
  • CleverTip: For custom colours, you can mix multiple liquid watercolours in a spray bottle or add water to soften and dilute the colour.
  • Step 2Construct your paper lantern. Use the watercolours in the spray bottle to decorate the lantern. Try spraying different colours and watch them blend on the lantern! Make sure to clean the spray bottle and head if switching between colours. Allow to dry.
  • Step 3Cut a length of craft line. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Tie the craft line to the lantern to create a hanger.
  • Step 4Your Watercolour Paper Lantern is now ready to display!
