Iron Bead Daisy Chain Bracelet

Step 1Create simple daisy shapes on a pegboard as shown. You will be able to fit quite a few daisies onto the board. We have made ours with traditional white petals and yellow centres, but you can choose any colours you like.
Step 2Once you are happy with your daisies, place a sheet of ironing paper over the top. Gently iron the beads in a circular motion, fusing the beads together evenly. Adult supervision is recommended when using an iron. For this project we don’t want to completely flatten the beads as we need the hole in the middle of the beads to remain for assembly. Once they have fused but are still holding their shape, flip them off the board so they are now sitting on the ironing paper.
Step 3Fold the ironing paper over the daisies to iron this side. Use a gentle, circular motion until the beads are fused while still holding their shape and retaining their central hole
Step 4Let the beads cool slightly until they are safe to handle but still warm. If any of the holes have closed over, push a nail through the middle and give it a little wiggle. Remove the nail and repeat to open as many holes as needed. Allow to cool completely and the daisies are now ready for assembly.
Step 5Take two daisies and two jump rings. Open the jump rings and thread one onto each daisy. You may need to use chain nose pliers if you are struggling to attach the jump rings. Take a third jump ring and use this to join the two daisies together as shown. This is your first section of daisy chain!
Step 6Add a jump ring to the opposite side of one of the daisies in the first chain section. Add a jump ring onto another daisy. Attach this daisy to your chain using another jump ring. Repeat this step to attach the remaining daisies, making sure you have enough length to fit around a person’s wrist.
Step 7Once the chain is your desired length, add a jump ring and jewellery clasp to one end of the chain and a single jump ring to the other.
Step 8Your Iron Bead Daisy Chain Bracelet is now ready to gift or wear! Simply open the clasp and hook it onto the end jump ring to fasten around your wrist.
