Step 1Cut an 80cm length of spaghetti string. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Thread on four beads of the same colour (this will be your first flower’s petals), followed by a yellow bead. Leave at least 10cm at the start of your string, on the side with the coloured petal beads.
Step 2Thread the long end of your string back through the first petal bead on the left and pull the loop tightly.
Step 3Thread two more petal beads onto the string end that was just threaded through. Thread the end of your string back through the fourth petal bead (the coloured bead sitting on the right of the yellow bead). Secure the end of your flower by tying a single knot through the first loop.
Step 4Thread on a green bead at the start of your string. Thread this string down through the second loop and back through the green bead. Pull tight to secure the start of your bracelet.
Step 5On the longer end of your string, thread on one green bead, four petal beads, then one yellow bead. Repeat the process from steps 2 and 3 until you have six or seven flowers.
CleverTip: Smaller wrists may need less flowers, so be sure to check your bracelet’s size as you go!
Step 6Add one final green bead and thread the end of your string through the closest loop. Thread your string back through the green bead and pull tight to secure the end of your bracelet.
Step 7Fasten your bracelet with a sliding knot. Alternatively, you could tie the ends to a jump ring and jewellery clasp. Trim any excess string.
