Step 1Download and print the template provided onto white cover paper.
Step 2Decorate your template using paint, markers or pencils. You may even want to add a touch of sparkle with some glitter! Allow to dry if needed and then carefully cut out the two clover shapes. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. You will need to decorate the back of the large clover shape as well.
Step 3Position the smaller clover in the centre of the larger one and glue in place. Allow to dry.
Step 4With the small clover facing upwards, mountain fold in half horizontally and unfold. Mountain fold in half vertically and unfold.

Step 5Valley fold in half diagonally as shown. Unfold and then fold in half diagonally in the opposite direction. Unfold.
Step 6Flip the design over so the small clover is now facing down. Pick up the clovers and pinch the folds to create a ‘+’ shape. Fold flat into an upside-down heart as shown.
Step 7If you hold the bottom layer of the shape and pull the top layer upwards, your clover will now pop up and fold outwards to reveal the message! Make sure that your small clover is the right way up as shown. Fold it back up, ready for the next step.
Step 8Take a full sheet of green paper and start rolling diagonally from the corner. You can also use a pencil to help you create a tight roll. When you have a small triangle of paper left, add some glue to this section. Continue to roll the paper to form a long, thin tube – this is your wand handle! Allow to dry. Pinch one of the ends flat and glue the top of the folded clover (with the point facing down) into place at the top of the wand. Position it so you will pull downwards to open out the design. Allow to dry.
Step 9Your 3D Pop Up Clover Wand is now ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
