Mother's Day Flower Candle Holders

Show off your crafty skills by decorating a Flower Candle Holder for your Mum this Mother's Day!

Use the steps below as a decorative guide or mix it up with a variety of techniques and materials. You could try layering confetti, adding glitter glue or even rhinestones onto your holder.

Adult supervision is recommended when burning candles.

  • Step 1Begin by giving your tealight candle holder a coat of white paint. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
  • Step 2Paint your candle holder a bright colour and then allow to dry.
  • Step 3Decorate your candle holder using paint and glitter and then allow to dry.
  • For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter falling off the box while decorating. This will make it easy to tip the glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
