Hearts and KEYS Wooden Key Holders

Step 1Assemble your key holder before decorating for easy construction. For permanent as-sembly you will need to glue the pieces together.
Step 2Paint your key holder a bright colour. Allow to dry.
Step 3Cover the area to be decorated with glitter in a light coat of glue. While the glue is still tacky, sprinkle the glitter over the glue. Allow to dry and tip the excess glitter off.
For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter falling off the key holder. This will make it easy to tip the glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
Step 5Use a fine paint brush or permanent marker to add detail to your key holder. Allow to dry.
Step 6You could decorate your key holder with foam letters. Spell out ‘KEYS’, ‘MUM’ or personalise your key holder by adding Mum’s name. Attach with glue.
Step 7Cut a length of twine to create a hanger. Thread the twine through the pre-cut holes and tie to secure.
