Step 1Download and print out the templates provided. Use the templates to cut out each piece from coloured cover paper. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Alternatively, you can colour in the printed template using markers or pencils before cutting out each piece.
Step 2Turn the square card piece so it is on a diagonal and a corner is facing toward you. Fold the square diagonally in half, then open back up.
Step 3Take the corner from the left side and fold it into the centre line. Repeat with the right side.
Step 4Gather three petals and fold two of them in half. Apply glue to one side of a folded petal. Attach it to the whole petal on a slight angle so the top of the whole petal is sticking out as shown. Attach the other folded petal on the opposite side in the same way. Repeat this step until you have four flower heads. Allow to dry.
Step 5Glue a stem to the back of each flower head. Allow to dry.
Step 6Arrange your flowers inside the bouquet card so they can still be seen when the card is closed. When you are happy with the positioning, glue the flowers to the card. Allow to dry.
Step 7Glue the bow template over the flower stems. Allow to dry. Write a special personalised Mother’s Day message on the inside and front of the card.
Step 8If you wish, you can add some sparkle with sequins or glitter glue. Allow to dry.
Step 9Your Flower Bouquet Card is now ready to gift for Mother’s Day!
