Step 1Print and cut out the template provided. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Flatten a cardboard roll and align a template on top of the flattened roll. Use a pencil to trace around the solid black lines of the template. The grey lines should align with the edge of the cardboard roll and should not be traced, as these areas will not be cut in the next step.
Step 2Cut around the pencil lines on the cardboard roll, making sure to cut through both layers of the cardboard. Be careful not to cut the sides of the tulip or the sides of the leaves.
Step 3Unflatten the cardboard roll and shape it back into a cylinder so the tulip can stand up.
Step 4Paint and decorate the tulip however you like. Allow to dry.
Step 5Make as many tulips as you like in different colours. Your Cardboard Roll Tulips are now ready to display or gift!
