Step 1Clean your hanging glass jar with soapy water and dry well.
Shake the markers well before use. Press tip of your marker gently and repeatedly to start ink flow. Do this on some scrap paper, you may need to repeat this step each time you use the markers to get the ink flowing!
Step 3Think about what you want to draw on your glass jar. If you are unsure, try drawing a design on paper first, then copy onto the glass object with the markers.
Step 4Allow the markers to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
Step 5Once dry, gently remove the handle and place the glass jar in a cold household oven. Once the temperature has reached 160°C, bake the glass jar for 90 minutes to heat set your design.
Remember, when baking the glass jar, DO NOT pre-heat the oven. The difference in temperature may cause the glass jar to crack. Instead, put the jar in a cold oven, then turn the oven on.
Step 7Replace the handle and place an LED tealight candle in your jar for a creepy tealight holder or fill with lollies for halloween!
