Step 1Start by cutting a chenille stem so you have two 11cm pieces and one 5cm piece. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Take two wooden beads - a large size for the body and a smaller size for the head. Paint the wooden beads to match your chosen chenille stem colour. Allow to dry. Use a permanent pen to add a face onto the small bead.
Step 2Thread the two 11cm chenille stem pieces through the two beads as shown.
Step 3Bend and loop the bottom chenille stems back to the bottom bead to create the feet.
Step 4Repeat with the top to make the ears.
Step 5Take the 5cm chenille stem piece and place it into the bottom bead. Loop back the end to make a little tail.
Clever tip: You can use glue to secure the chenille stems if you’d like, but it’s not essential. Allow to dry.
Step 6Make as many bead bunny friends as you’d like. Your Wooden Bead Bunny is now ready to display or gift!
