Tis’ the season to get crafty with our Christmas craft ideas. We will get you in the Christmas spirit with hundreds of activities to choose from.

Origami Christmas Tree

  • Step 1Fold your square piece of origami paper in half, crease firmly and then reopen.
  • Step 2Repeat the previous step but folding the opposite side.
  • Step 3Fold the paper in half diagonally to make a triangle, crease firmly and then reopen.
  • Step 4Repeat with the opposite diagonal.
  • Step 5Using the creases you have made, Bring 3 corner points down to the bottom corner.
  • Step 6Flatten the paper into place to create a diamond shape.
  • Step 7Fold the side point towards the centre fold and flatten.
  • Step 8Using the crease you have just made, open the small triangle up.
  • Step 9Flatten this triangle down firmly.
  • Step 10Fold the opened triangle in half and fold over to one side.
  • Step 11Repeat with adjacent flap.
  • Step 12Turn the whole thing over and repeat folds with the remaining two triangle flaps of paper.
  • Step 13Fold the whole triangle in half and crease firmly.
  • Step 14Open up to the Christmas tree shape with pointy legs.
  • Step 15Repeat the steps with another square of paper to create a second Christmas tree.
  • Step 16Poke a loop of yarn through the point of one of the Christmas trees so that you have something to hang it with!
  • Step 17Push the two Christmas trees together by making sure each pointy leg is on the inside of the decoration.
  • Step 18Adjust joins so that they sit nicely together.
