Tis’ the season to get crafty with our Christmas craft ideas. We will get you in the Christmas spirit with hundreds of activities to choose from.

Christmas Paper Chains

Your Christmas decorations will be a CUT above the rest with these pretty cut Paper Chains! Use the templates provided or come up with your own shapes for some easy festive fun!
  • Step 1Download and print out the template provided. Cut out around the 3 grey boxes. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 2Take your first design and lay it on the top corner of a sheet of cover paper. Use this as a guide to then accordion fold the sheet of paper. Cut away any excess paper along the edge so the paper is a long strip of folded paper the same width as the template.
  • Step 3Cut the long folded strip so it is the size of the template. Cut around the black outline of the template, making sure not to cut down the edge where the black line stops. This will hold the paper chain together. Once cut out, remove the template and place to the side.
  • Step 4Unfold the paper to reveal your paper chain! Use coloured markers to decorate and add details to your design. Our templates will give you an idea of how you could decorate.
  • Step 5Create more paper chains using the other 2 templates or create your own! Once decorated, your Christmas Paper Chains are ready to display!
