Zebra Finger Puppet

Did you know a group of zebras is called a dazzle? Who knew!? This cute zebra puppet uses our template and some basic origami folds to get your fingers moving.
  • Not sure how to mountain and valley fold? Take a look at our Basic Origami Folds video before you begin!
  • Step 1Download and print out the template.
  • Step 2Decorate your Zebra with your favourite craft supplies including markers, pencils or even glitter glue! Allow to dry if necessary.
  • Step 3Cut out your template cutting along the dashed lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 4Place your zebra printed side down and valley fold the two strips of 4 squares into the centre so that they overlap. Secure with sticky tape.
  • Step 5Flip the zebra over so the printed side is face up, then valley fold along the line in the centre, just above the tongue.
  • Step 6Mountain fold along the line in between the face and mouth, as well as the line in between the tongue and body. Finally, valley fold the line at the top of the body.
  • Step 7Place your thumb and pointer finger into the open pockets on the back of your zebra, then open and close your fingers to get your zebra talking!
