Step 1Download and print out the stencil template provided. Fold the stencil in half then cut it out along the solid black lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2It is important to have a flat, stable work area to complete this activity. Protect your work area by putting down splash mats or scrap paper. Insert a piece of scrap paper inside of the Cotton Bag to prevent any paint leaking through to the other side of the bag.
Step 3Place the stencil in the centre of the front of the bag, then place the silk screen on top.
Step 4We have chosen to use Purple Aquatex Fabric Paint, but feel free to choose any colour for your bunny. Place a generous amount of paint across the top of the silk screen.
Step 5Hold the screen down with one hand or get someone to hold it down for you. Place the squeegee at the top of the screen just above the paint, then drag the paint across the screen to cover the bunny’s body. Repeat this process until you have consistent coverage over the stencil.
Step 6Once you are satisfied that the bunny area is covered, carefully lift the screen and remove the stencil to reveal your design. Allow to dry.
Step 7Create a tail by using a needle and thread to attach a pom pom to the bottom of the bunny’s body.
Step 8Your Bunny Easter Egg Bag is now ready to use!
